Benton County Court Retention Timelines

A missing old District Court file may therefore reflect the schedule, not a portal fault.
When an online result is missing, check the case number and court level first. Older Superior Court information may require direct help from the Benton County Clerk. If District Court confirms destruction, ask the agency that created a separate police or arrest report for its own record. That agency file is governed by the Washington Public Records Act and its own retention rules. It does not restore a destroyed judicial file, but it may document a different part of the event.
